The dimensioning is based on the standards
The following things should be taken into account in calculation:
- The durability and deflections of the cladding are dimensioned with loads according
to the load calculation. Impact resistance is demonstrated by a test report in
accordance with EN 12600.
- Anchors used to attach the handrail must have a valid ETA. In the EEA, the
characteristic values of anchoring are given. Anchor manufacturers have their own
sizing programs for the dimensioning of the anchorage.
- If the handrail is fastened from its handrail to side walls or other vertical
structures, the capacity of the fasteners must be dimensioned.
- The deflection of the handrail is dimensioned by the load according to the
characteristic combination. The deflection of any part of the handrail shall not
exceed 30mm
